Research Interests
I am a Ph.D. student in the Veterinary Medical Sciences program. I studied the effect of Shroom2 protein on the progress of primary immunodeficiency disease during my master’s Master’s research. To continue my research career and study immunology more thoroughly, I got a chance to study and work in the Zhou Lab. Now, I am trying to understand how nutrients changes in innate lymphocytes and T lymphocytes affect gastrointestinal tissue remodeling and function. Working in the Zhou Lab with plentiful resources and talented people, I am able to apply CRISPR technology to my studies, which has allowed me to better understand and find more interesting targets that contribute to disease initiation and progression. Outside of work, I like cooking and playing badminton.
