Research Interests
I am a Florida native and a recent addition to the Zhou lab. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology and a Bachelor of Arts in history. My position at the Zhou lab was my first job after graduation, and it has been a fantastic opportunity to add to the type of work environment that bolsters productivity and morale. I take pride in my position as lab manager because it allows me to form close relationships with a small group of peers with similar interests and create a space that promotes safe and consistent work. When I am not at work, you can find me doing yoga and lifting weights at my community gym or going out for a walk around Gainesville’s many beautiful natural areas.
