ID&I Researchers Publish Investigation of COVID-19 Susceptibility and Protection

A new study has been published detailing how genetic ancestral origins may play a part in susceptibility to, and protection from, COVID-19. ID&I PhD candidate Yiran Shen, the first author of the study, and Dr. Cuong Nguyen, ID&I Associate Professor, collaborated with both local and national scientists to achieve their results. The publication is featured in the journal PLOS One.
